Ministry Update (November 2021)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thank you for your continued support and prayers. I praise the Lord for His continued provision. I have now reached 50% of the support needed to go to Haiti fulltime.

As I continue to be in South Carolina, I am able to serve in my local church on Wednesday evenings helping in the kids’ program. I enjoy spending time with the young people and appreciate the opportunity I had to speak to them one evening. Earlier this month, I was blessed to take a trip to Puerto Rico. Because of Covid restrictions I had to have a negative test result in order to fly. The cost of this test was $100. The same day I was to get the test I received a check for that same amount! The Lord provides! This trip served two purposes. One was to visit my college and teachers/friends who are still there. The second was to present the ministry to the church I use to attend. The pastor told me even before I spoke that the church had already voted to support me as soon as I “had boots on the ground” in Haiti. As his wife put it, I was “one of theirs.” That Sunday morning, I was able to help interpret part of the service. It was so good to see and spend time with my deaf friends there. Things to Pray For: · That I will be able to schedule more meetings in churches. · That more churches will choose to partner with me in going to Haiti. · For wisdom about when to return to Haiti. · For stability in Haiti and for the ministries that are ongoing.
