Ministry Update (April 2022)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thank you for your continued support and prayers. I mentioned in my last letter that due to the political unrest in Haiti it is uncertain that we would be able to return anytime soon. My mission board is supportive of me as I seek the Lord’s guidance regarding a new place to become involved in deaf ministries. I have already reached out to two different missionary couples about the possibility of planning a short-term trip of a few weeks in order to visit their ministries. One is in Ecuador and the other is in Guatemala. Please pray for me as I open my heart to a new leading and direction from the Lord.

Interpreting Easter Sunday at Bible Baptist Church in Landrum, SC

The month of April has flown by and I have greatly enjoyed being a part of the kid’s program on Wednesday nights at my home church. I teach the “missionary story” time and right now we are learning about Fanny Crosby. She was used of God in a mighty way to write 100s of hymns many of which we still sing today. However, there was a time in Fanny’s life when she did not know what it was that the Lord would have her to do. But she trusted that at the right time He would make it clear to her. And He certainly did just that. I have the same confidence in the same God that Fanny served.
