Ministry Update (September 2021)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Since starting deputation, I have been continually amazed by God’s goodness. I have been able to present the work in Haiti to five different churches during the month of August. Three of those churches have decided to partner with me in going to Haiti. The Lord has thus provided about 40% of my needed support. I am trusting him to take me the rest of the way. In my last letter, I mentioned that the recent assassination has delayed us in going. When the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Greer, SC, heard that I would be delayed in going; he called and said that the Lord was leading him to offer me a position working at the school until I was able to go to Haiti. So, I have been teaching third grade in the afternoons at Calvary Christian School. This is the same school that I graduated from, and it has been a blessing to serve in a place that is dear to my heart. The Lord always provides, sometimes in ways we were not excepting. During the last week in August, Bro. Harry Peart was able to travel to Haiti for a week to see how things are and to help get the child sponsorship program set up for this coming school year. He had a safe and profitable trip. Things to Prayer For: That I will be able to schedule more meetings in churches.

That more churches will choose to partner with me in going to Haiti. For wisdom about when to return to Haiti. For stability in Haiti and for the ministries that are ongoing.
